The Beginning of the End

Folks (or, Folk, rather. I think I only have one reader so far), tonight I will beginning my bittersweet journey to the end. The end of Six Feet Under. Yes, that's right. While flipping through Sunday ads with my brother this weekend, I found an ad for the fifth season on sale a Best Buy or something. The finall season's available! I sprung to action, moving the discs to the top of my Netflix queue and sending in the dvds I had lying around. Success! Today I received disc 1 & 2. I am both anxious to start viewing and also reluctant as I know like all good things, SFU must come to an end.

FOs!

Baby blanket for J's coworker and good friend at the studio! They are expecting their little boy bundle any day now.
(Sex and the City dvd shown for scale.)

PROJECT STATS
Pattern: free baby blanket pattern
Yarn: Knit Picks Shine Sport (approx. 10 skeins or Sky and 1 1/2 of Green Apple)
Needles: Clover Bamboo size 6, 36" circular
Started: Feb.1, 2006
Completed: Feb. 28,2006
Impression: Enjoyable and easy to memorize pattern with enough variation to keep things interesting. Having never knit a blanket of any size before, I grossly underestimated the amount of yarn needed for this project, and had to order extra supplies twice. Shine is such a pleasant yarn to knit with bamboo needles.
