knit inspiration for fall

i just saw this 3.1 philip lim knit dress on the outnet.  what a great, simple and elegant silouhette.  i would love to do a sport weight hand-knit version of this.

I've missed Camera Obscura so many times, and I finally got to see them last night. Great show. And I had the best company, too. :)

stranger in town

This fall look (via Stil in Berlin) is perfect. Love the mixture of textures -- suede, leather, felt and wool gabardine. Love the deep colors, and the long silhouette.

best show of the year

Last night my special one and I saw Dan Auerbach play at Webster Hall, with Justin Townes Earle opening for him. What a great show! I'd even say -- perhaps the best show of my year!

remember these?

I was obsessed with these boots last year, and I NEED them this year.
I have found them on eBay in my size and my favored color combo (the navy ones).
They will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine.
