The recent parting of paths in my life has had a domino effect into every other aspect of my identity -- for better and worse, though mostly better. For one thing I'm finally fully unpacking myself after 6 consecutive annual moves! This means I need to make even more room in my closets as I get to the bottom of some of those cardboard boxes. In addition, I've lost some (don't worry, not a ton) of weight and have been practicing yoga, so some of those hot items I love just aren't fitting me anymore.

New Shop Venue

I've had such a blast selling some of my vintage items on etsy lately and had some fantastic interactions with other vintage lovers through that venue.

Deciding to let go of some of the treasures I've kept hidden in my closet has been oddly invigorating. So much so, I've decided to expand into the realms of selling some of the non-vintage, hardly/never worn items in my closet via eBay.

Coming soon...shop updates!

Today is New York's first really stormy, grey day this fall, and I'm loving it! Something about the falling rain, the coolness of the air, and the beautiful layers of clouds makes me feel so happy. But trying to rifle through my closets and various stacks of clothes this morning quickly turned my optimism into frustration. I'm a clothes horse, and proud of it, but today I realized it's time to let go of some items I've been holding on to. I have some great stuff that's never seen the outside of the closet, even with my efforts to remix and reconsider my wardrobe via Wardrobe Remix.

So, I'll be putting some new items in etsy shop, as well as marking the remaining spring/summer vintage items on SALE.
