It's about time

After seeing fellow Wardrobe Remixer Esme's new scarf today, it's official: I'm sick of the summertime heat. I want autumn. I want cold wind and rain. I want grey mist. I want wool scarves. I want thick tights, knee high boots and turtleneck sweaters.

I'm parking myself directly in front of the air conditioner tonight with a glass of Woop Woop syrah and some alpaca on the needles. I started the above scarf LAST JANUARY to go with my new full length cashmere Max Azria winter coat on those brisk 10 degree F days. It's about time I finished it.

Can we swap weather? Seriously? I have an excess of cold wind and rain here that I would like to offload :)

Maybe I can bottle some and send it by post.

BEAUTIFUL workmanship, D. I love these colors for fall! I'm craving a blustery, smoky fall day, too. Good for thrifting and coffee sipping!

I can't wait until fall also! Although since I'm in the southwest our fall will be equivalent to a cooler summer minus the monsoon. Last winter I started to crochet beanies. I should start on my scarf!

This looks amazing! And very technical too, like a professional one. Wow!
