Last night D and I went to the Brooklyn Museum to hear Sanford Biggers, Marcus Samuelsson and Mos Def talk about their work. They were all fascinating, thoughtful, inspiring and funny. Sanford Biggers told a story about a defining moment early in his career that moved me to tears because of his earnest intent.

I have really enjoyed Mos Def on Dexter recently. He's always come across as a careful, thoughtful person.
