


I'm not one to have a tizzy about fashion, but Miuccia Prada's S/S '09 collection almost gets me to that point. Style.com quotes her with the explanation that the collection is "primitive"- I guess so! Her platform heels and slippery footies couldn't even be worn down the runway without nearly breaking a few of the models' ankles, and the silky, suggestively crumpled garments hardly contained any reliable closures. They were completely unforgiving towards actual movement. It was as if a caveman designed the collection- not a woman who's been continuously revered for her beautiful fashion for the thinking woman.
