Using the recipe for Sopa de Ajo from Mario Batali's Spain: a culinary road trip as a base, I made this delicious, thick and spicy Garlic Bread Soup tonight, adding a splash of vinegar, tomato paste, cracked black pepper, cilantro, and more olive oil and paprika. I topped each bowl with fresh baby spinach leaves, slices of ripe tomato, sea salt and cracked pepper.

I wish I'd known of this recipe while my sis was visiting! She LOVES garlic anything hehe :) I'll need to try this in the fall!
Actual chunks of bread in here? It looks almost like a porridge---yummy!
