collective nightmare

April pointed out that it seemed that many people have been having nightmares. I posted about one just the other day. In mine it was nighttime, but there was an unhealthy light everywhere, like in The Blind Girl by John Millais (above). I was trapped in a dark house, trying to keep this light out, but someone was breaking all of the windows from the outside, letting it in.

My roommates and I have a mice problem this winter. Just a couple, and we caught them both, but still a problem.
Last night I had a n.m. of a big rat trying to get me. It was scary.

so strange... because I had 2 nightmares last night, first that someone was in my room watching me sleep & I HAD to wake myself up (which I eventually did, very shaken though). Then, that I had bugs bursting from under the skin of my forearms. Horrible!

Odd. Love your blog though, and understand your recent troubles. It gets easier. I promise :)

wow, and I thought it was just me and my back-to-school jitters/adjusting to changing schedules from break to quarter system again. I've been having nightmares for two weeks straight; I think last night was my first night without them, and I didn't want to get up this am, it felt so cozy for the first time in my bed.

my worst was dreaming that I'd been shot in the chest. As I watched the blood spread, the man who shot me cut out my tongue so that I couldn't scream for help, and just walked away. My mouth filled with blood and my clothing on my chest filled with blood and it hurt and it was so heavy. God, it was awful. I woke up and my chest ached; I kept feeling that pain all night.
