I've been known to be attracted to the borderline to just plain ugly in footwear. My sister calls my general footwear aesthetic "ladydog". And after shopping with a friend this weekend and slobbering all over these little numbers by Michael Kors, I am officially obsessed. My fate was sealed when I saw the below picture of this graceful lady wearing the chucky, absurd boots with such style on Garance Dore's blog. Aren't they just perfect for a New York fall/winter??

Dare I say it, these are kinda cute. :) Way better than those construction worker boots with heels that came out a few years back. Ick!
