We walked the beach night and early morning. We indulged in a huge sushi dinner. We got lots of good rest away from the city. And when the train pulled back in to Penn Station, we were so happy to be back in New York.

Long Branch, NJ
On Labor Day weekend, I was treated to a surprise getaway to the infamous mafia town of Long Branch, NJ. We stayed at the very hip new Bungalow Hotel, which will be featured in a new reality show later this year on Bravo about the design duo who created the space. We ate a memorable late night French dinner on the beach, with fireworks right over head. We laid out in the sun and drank cocktails.
